The website “www.NECCA.gov.gr” (the “Website”), through which you have access to these Terms, has been created, is maintained, and is operated by the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (“NECCA” or the “Agency”), which operates under the supervision of the Ministry of Environment and Energy, with its registered office at 207 Mesogeion Avenue, Athens 11525.

 

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the user and NECCA regarding the use of the Website. Access to and use of the Website (including simple browsing) constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms.

 

By browsing the Website, you accept and agree to be bound by and comply with these Terms of Use, as well as all other operational rules, policies, and procedures that we may publish from time to time on our Website.

NECCA reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use and any other rules governing the use of the Website at its sole discretion, providing notice of such modifications through an announcement on the Website’s homepage. The Terms of Use will indicate the date of their latest update.

The NECCA Website is an information resource for environmental professionals and anyone interested in environmental matters. Specifically, it provides information related to biodiversity.

 

In particular, through the Website, the Organization provides:

  • Updates on the Organization’s activities and initiatives.
  • Information on protected areas.
  • Access to institutional and administrative documents.
  • Links to external websites for ticket issuance.

The content of the Website (texts, images, videos, logos, etc.) is protected by intellectual property rights and belongs to NECCA. Access to the Website is possible from around the world. This, however, does not imply that NECCA offers or intends to offer its services outside of Greece.

NECCA is subject to Greek law. Without prejudice to the provisions of these Terms regarding NECCA’s liability for the Website’s content, NECCA makes no warranties and assumes no responsibility as to whether the Website, its Content, and the services referred to therein are lawful in countries outside of Greece. These Terms are governed by Greek Law. Any disputes arising from them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens.
If you are a consumer residing in an EU Member State, you retain any rights granted to you under your national legislation. You also have the right to use the EU’s Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform.
