N.E.C.C.A.’s inclusion as a member of the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) is of particular importance as it enables the organization to participate in international conferences and networking events as well to seek the necessary scientific support and training in nature conservation and biodiversity. The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), which specializes in the conservation of species and nature conservation, is based in Gland, Switzerland and publishes the Global Red List of Threatened Species.
