With the integration in Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA) of the Management Body of Karla – Mavrovouni – Kefalovruso Velestinou – Pineios Delta, the Management Unit of Protected Areas of Thessaly operates under N.E.C.C.A.’s Protected Areas Management Directorate (Sector A), based in Kalabaka with a branch office in Kanalia Magnisias.
