The project aims to fulfill national obligations for the year 2022, with regards to inventories and reports submitted to the competent bodies of the European Commission (EC), the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) and the Secretariat of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) regarding greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants. In addition, the project includes providing support to the MEEN’s Climate Change and Atmospheric Quality Directorate in international negotiations under international conventions and European Directives and Regulations on climate change and air quality as well as emissions issues and any other relevant national obligation that will be in force within the year.
