The website “www.necca.gov.gr” (the “Website”) from which you are accessing these Terms is created, maintained owned and operated by the Natural Environment and Climate Change Agency (NECCA) is a Legal Entity of Private Law supervised by the Ministry of Environment and Energy (referred to below as “NECCA”, “our”, “we”, “Agency”), with registered address at 207, Mesogeion Avenue, Athens 11525.
These Terms constitute the overall agreement between you and NECCA as far as it concerns your use of the website
The use of the Website by the visitor is subject to these Terms of Use, as they apply at any time and constitute the agreement between NECCA and each person who visits the Website regarding its use. Accessing and using the Website in any way (including the simple navigation on it), indicates the unconditional acceptance by the user of the Terms of Use, as they apply at any time.
By visiting the website, you accept and agree to be bound and abide by these Terms and all other operating rules, policies and procedures that we may publish from time to time on the Website.
- Amendment of the Terms
NECCA reserves the right to modify the Terms of Use and any other rule that governs the use of the Website at its sole discretion, notifying each time each modification with a relevant announcement on the home page of the Website. The Terms of Use will indicate the last date of their update.

NECCA’s Website is a source of information for environmentalists and anyone who has an interest in the environment. In particular, it provides information on anything that concerns the biodiversity.

In this website, we make available content, including (but not limited to) information, texts, photos, pictures and other images and videos, trademarks and logos (together referred to as “Content”). We own all Content made available through the website or we have the license, by the copyright owner, to present it. The Content is subject to copyright, trademark or other intellectual property rights and laws. The Website is used “as is”, subject to amendments by NECCA, without the possibility of amendments or other interventions by the user.

This website is accessible from all over the world. This, however, does not mean that NECCA offers or intends to offer its services in other countries than Greece.
NECCA is subject to Greek law. Subject to these Terms, we are not responsible for the content of the website and we assume no liability whatsoever as to whether the website, the content and the services referred to therein are legal in countries outside Greece. If a user accesses the website from a website outside Greece, the user is solely responsible for compliance with local law.

The non-exercise by NECCA of its rights deriving from these Terms does not imply its waiver of these rights. NECCA expressly reserves the right to supervise the application of these rules at its sole discretion.
- Governing Law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use and any amendment thereof shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Greek law and you hereby submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Athens, Greece. Provided that, if you are a consumer with your habitual residence in a country within the EU, nothing in these Terms will prejudice the rights that you may have under the mandatory provisions of the laws of such country, including your right to submit a complaint to the EU Online Dispute Resolution (“ODR”) platform.
All rights and remedies under the Terms of Use are cumulative and do not exclude other rights and remedies provided by law or other agreement.
