Release of rehabilitated sea turtles

N.E.C.C.A.’s head of the 2^nd Directorate for the Management of Protected Areas, Mr. Nikolaos Karavas, participated in a release operation for loggerhead turtles (Caretta caretta) which were rehabilitated at the Archelon Sea Turtle Rescue Center. The action was organized by the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece “ARCHELON” and took place on October 4, in Anavyssos.
